The power of partnership
Aboriginal health disadvantage is complex and multidimensional. The Gap persists. The Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing Clinical Academic Group is working to help modern health meet the needs of the Indigenous community through an active campaign of partnership, education and engagement.
This leading group is a collective of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, community organisations, Aboriginal community health advocates, health and wellbeing researchers, and educators, practitioners and service professionals.
The Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing Clinical Academic Group creates resources to help non-Indigenous clinicians, researchers, service providers and organisations understand how to engage with First Nations People, and is creating a once-in-a-generation opportunity to close The Gap on Aboriginal health and wellbeing.
